Jérôme Lang is senior researcher at CNRS since 2008. His laboratory of affiliation is LAMSADE (CNRS, PSL, Université Paris-Dauphine). Il has obtained a PhD in computrer science in 1991. From 1991 to 008 he was junior researcher ("chargé de recherche') at CNR, affiliated with IRIT (Université de Toulouse). His field of research is artificial intelligence, and more precisely computational social choice, knowledge representation and reasoning. He served as the president of the programme committee of the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI) in 2018. He is or was associate editor of Artificial Intelligence Journal (2010-2016), Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (2009-2015), Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems (2008-) and Social Choice and Welfare (2016-). He is the co-editor of the Handbook of Computational Social Choice (Cambridge University Press, 2016).
